It's 7 am in Matamoros, Mexico. Pedro Gonzalez is just opening up his barbershop for the day. And Salma Perez is opening the doors of her own restaurant, El Lugar de Salma. They both watch as a black ‘69 mustang rides into town. It pulls into one of the other more popular bars in town, the La Desesperación Brutal. Out of the car comes a young black man and a white man who appears 15 years older then the young man. As they walk into the bar and sit down by a table, a waitress comes by the table.

The Waitress says, "¿Qué querrían señores? (What would you like gentlemen?)"
Lajon says, "Busco a un hombre que se llama Diego. ¿Él está aquí? (I'm looking for a man by the name of Diego. Is he here?)"
The Waitress says, "Un momento, por favor. (Hold on a second, please.)"
Sean says, "What did you two just say?"
Lajon says, "I'll tell you later. Just go with the flow."

A Mexican man in his late 50's walks out and towards Lajon's and Sean's table.

Diego says, "Soy Diego. ¿Con qué puedo ayudar? (I'm Diego. What can I help you with?)"

Lajon says, "Busco información con respecto a Santeria. (I'm looking for info on Santeria.)"

Diego considers this and the waitress whispers into her ear. Diego looks back at them and speaks.

Diego says, "Vayamos a un cuarto interior y el discurso acerca de esto. No es una idea buena para nadie oír por casualidad. (Let's go to a back room and talk about this. Not a good idea for anyone to overhear.)"

Sean and Lajon follow Diego and the waitress to right behind the bar.

Within a second’s notice, Lajon is gone.

Diego says, "Bien, para un honorario de $200....y algo más hace yo le doy la información. (Well, for a fee of $200.... and something else will I give you the info.)"
Lajon says, “¿Para lo que más? (What else?)"
Diego says, “Parece que mi camarera querría al placer ella misma con su amigo. (It seems that my waitress would like to pleasure herself with your friend.)"

Lajon looks back to Sean.

Lajon says, “Well, in order to get the info, you need to pay him $200... And..."
Sean says, “And what?"
Lajon says, “Well, the waitress wants to fuck you."

Sean looks at the waitress and then back to Lajon.

Sean says, “I don't see any other choice here. You certainly can't help me there so I have to."
Lajon says, “Mi amigo...dice sí. (My friend...he says yes.)"

Diego and the waitress smile.

Diego says to the waitress, “Usted es mejor bueno a él. Él parece enfermo. (You better be good to him...he doesn't look so good...)"
Waitress says, “No preocupe, Diego. Cuándo yo soy hecho con él, él será un hombre nuevo. (Don't worry Diego. When I'm done with him, he'll be a new man.)"

Sean takes out $200 and hands it to Diego. He then walks up to the waitress and follows her.

Diego says, “While we wait, mind having a quick drink with me?"
Lajon says, “I'd be much obliged."

The waitress and Sean enter a back room.

The Waitress says, “Please sit down."

Sean has a confused look on his face.

Waitress says, “Pardon me. My name is Rosie. Could you please sit down?"

As Sean sits down on the edge of the bed, Rosie bends down on her knees and gives Sean oral pleasure. After Sean 'releases', Rosie gets up and takes off his shirt and pants and takes off her dress. Moments pass as two bodies mix, one looking for pleasure, another still in pain. While this is happening, Sean remembers when Robyn, Eryn and Karen all left him. They couldn’t handle his police life anymore. In fact, Rosie reminded him of how Karen looked.

Sometimes it hurts
So much to lose the one you love

'It hurts so much'. Sean decides that it's for the better just to hold it in until he can leave here. After it's all done, Sean sits up on the bed for a few minutes.

Rosie says, “Thank you."
Sean says, “Don't mention it."

Rosie and Sean get up and get dressed.

Rosie says, “Do you think we could meet again sometime?"
Sean says, “Maybe. But not right now. It's not a good time right now."

Rosie takes a piece of paper out of her pocket and grabs a pen from a cart. She writes her contact info and hands it to Sean.

Rosie says, “Please take it."

Sean takes the piece of paper and puts it in his pocket. After that, Sean and Rosie walks out of the back room and into the bar.

Rosie says, “Diego, I'm going to finish off my shift."

Diego nods.

Diego then says, “Gentleman, we will conduct this in a private room."

Diego goes behind the bar and to the left. In front of him is a ladder, going up. Sean and Lajon follow him and go into the storage room and huddle around a light.

Diego says, “This is the only thing I know about Santeria and this is the only time I will divulge such information. About a week back, I was on my way back from a deal with a local manufacturer when I noticed something conspicuous by an old abandoned church. I drove into the parking lot and saw what appears to be a bloody dog's head hanging on a doorknob attached to the church. As soon as I saw that, I knew Santeria was involved. Just follow the road east for about 4 miles and you'll find it. Gentleman, I have to go back to work now."

Diego returns to the bar and Lajon and Sean walk towards the door. As Sean looks back, Rosie waves at him. Sean attempts to wave back a weak wave.

Lajon says, “What's wrong with you Sean?"
Sean says, “Let's just get this done. The sooner the better."

Lajon looks towards his destination.
