CLASH OF UNDERSTANDING

Sean walks up to the police station and opens the door. He goes in and goes up to the receptionist.

Sherri says, “Hi Sean. Shouldn’t you be home taking care of yourself?"
Sean says, “I’m doing a poor job of it, Sherri. I can really feel that vacation coming."
Sherri says, “Ok, just don't make yourself worse. So what brings you here?"
Sean says, “Just to get some info on a case."
Sherri says, “Good luck."

Sean walks to the hall outside the evidence room and sees Tim Johns, the security guard beside the door.

Johns says, “Please display your ID and state your purpose of business."

Sean shows him his badge and the paperwork on the case.

Sean says, “Sean Napier, looking for evidence from a JL O’Conner murder."

Johns unlocks the door and Sean walks in. Sean looks around, seeing if Lajon arrived yet.

Sean says, "Where the hell are ya Lajon?"
Lajon says, “Happy to see me?!"

Lajon appears right behind Sean.

Sean says, “Damn! Scared the shit outta me Lajon! Gotta stop with that shit... someone will hear."
Lajon says, “I'm cool. So where's the evidence you want looked at?"
Sean says, “ How'd you even get in here?"
Lajon says, “Trade secrets. You'd have to die to learn them."

Lajon winks at Sean as Sean goes to the file cabinet. He goes into O’Conner’s section, which has all the files of the victims and takes the first one, handing it to Lajon.

Sean says, “Open the file and take the knife."
Lajon says, “Ok...case file of Ryan Simkins. Oooo...that's a nasty cut."
Sean says, “Just touch the knife man..."

Lajon touches the knife.

(First Memory Sequence)

JL O'Conner is walking into a hardware store. He currently has his hair in a ponytail and his face covered with sunglasses. Walking over to the aisle with the knives and picking one up, he slides his fingers across the side of the blade, to crave again the blood of victims. He pays for it with cash and walks out. He walks the sidewalk for about half an hour before he spots an ideal candidate for a little blood festival. A young man in his mid 20’s short blond hair, business suit. He follows him around for a little bit and then sees an alley in the distance. He takes a right and more or less goes on the opposite side of the building from where the man is. About 5 minutes later, he is in the alley, waiting for the man to walk across. He quickly glances towards the sidewalk and sees the man no more then a few minutes away. As the man walks by, O'Conner grabs him and throws him against the building. He then also picks him up and throws him at the building but over a dumpster.

The Man says, “Uh... What are you doing to me?"
JL says, “Its best you don't know, son."

O'Conner picks up one of the covers of the dumpster and dumps the man into it. O’Conner follows and slashes the mans throat, so that no one can hear the cries of a pitiful voice.

JL says, “Your end is coming..."

O’Conner then carves a snake into the mans chest. After he does that, he tosses the knife into a disposed of can of liquids, making sure that no one knows its him. He jumps out of the dumpster, makes sure no one is watching, and walks down the alley.

(End First Memory Sequence)

Sean says, “So what did you see?"
Lajon says, “And I thought the ghetto was tough. The murder of Ryan Simkins. Killed in a dumpster. Poor guy. I have a feeling he could have gone far."

Sean takes another random file from the evidence box. It's marked Jack Hong.

Lajon says, “And I'm not even getting paid for this..."

Lajon just grins and takes the knife from that file.
